Measure around your rib cage just under your bust. Round down to the closest inch. This is your rib cage measurement, which you’ll need to figure out your band and cup size.

FIGURE OUT YOUR CUP SIZE - THIS IS A 2-STEP PROCESS:

First, measure around the fullest part of your bust. Keep the tape straight across your back. Round up to the nearest whole number. This is your bust measurement.

Now, subtract your rib cage measurement (step 1) from your bust measurement (step 3). The difference in inches is your suggested cup size. If you’re between sizes, round up.

So I’m 5ft 10 185 with larger shoulders and a shorter mid section/hips. I have a real athletic body type. I have their first gen which was a medium. The arms were a little short as well as the bottom though it stayed close to the my body without any large gaps of air. It didn’t have the cinch ability either. This gen is a step above in everything however I ordered a size up. Gave me ample arm space and sat lower. However the gap on the bottom even cinched is rough if you’re not layering fully with thicker clothes. I wish it had a rear cinch as well seperate to be able to really shrink the lower part of the coat down. If your between sizes I would still order up however be mindful it could be loose on the bottom. Still like the coat but the sizing will be hard for medium build people who have smaller waists.

Ordered an XL and 2XL to compare sizing. I'm 6'2", 215# and muscular, and the XL fit well, with base and mid layers added with room to move and breath. Was able to return the 2XL with minimum fuss. Design: I appreciate the cuffs at the wrists, designed to flex with your movement but keep that warm air from escaping. Good is just perfect with a watch cap underneath, not sized correctly for a helmet to fit if that is what you are looking for. Area for improvement: Although there is an elastic cord hem at the bottom, it is not easily adjusted on either side and the plastic toggle is flimsy. Recommend improving this design similar to other outdoor clothing companies like Outdoor Research so that it is truly a one-handed operation for closing and releasing.
